The first steps in Shipboard Security Planning called for by the ISPS Code is the Security Assessment. Phoenix Vessel Services staff, experts in their field will conduct the on board assessment required by the ISPS Code as well as the threat assessment which together form the basis of your Ship Security Plan

The Ship Security Plan or Managing the Risks identified by the "SSA" is another element in Shipboard Security Planning called for by the ISPS Code is the Security Plan. PVS can help you develop “The Security Plan” and receive the approval of Ship Security Plans (SSP) in Compliance with International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS) Code Adopted by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in December of 2002.

We provide courses that meet all ISPS Code requirements. Training can be conducted both onboard or ashore, or you can select online e-Learning provided by our affiliate company Supply Chain Security. The Supply Chain Security (SCS) e-campus provides a convenient and low cost method of learning for companies to comply with ISPS, MTSA, HAZMAT, U.S. C-TPAT, and FDA Bioterrorism regulations. SCS e-Learning courses are offered in both English and Spanish.
